Required Experience:
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance functions on equipment.
• Ability to set up, monitor, and maintain printing/press equipment.
• Ability to read and understand order instructions and job specifications.
Preferred Experience:
• 3 years of warehouse experience.
• 1 year of plating experience.
• Strong PC knowledge (intermediate to advanced computer proficiency).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience operating Advent Machines, Cutters, and 3-hole drills.
• Experience with handwork and packing processes.
• Knowledge of ink density, ink/water balance, and color matching.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled General Bindery Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate moderately complex post-press equipment of intermediate to advanced difficulty. You will be responsible for the complete setup and efficient operation of the press, ensuring that all products meet strict quality and color standards. This position involves processing multiple product types, performing preventive maintenance, and resolving production issues. You will utilize basic to intermediate computer systems to manage order instructions, check shipments, and generate labels.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Operate post-press equipment including Advent Machines, Cutters, 3-hole drills, and perform handwork and packing.
• Perform complete and efficient press setups, including monitoring equipment and maintaining supply stock.
• Check order shipments, stamp/proofread customer orders, and generate shipping labels.
• Maintain proper ink density, ink/water balance, and color matching to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Resolve production issues by altering processes and notify the Team Manager for additional resources or information when needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
