Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) or related field or Equivalent practical experience and skills can be substituted for formal education.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
• Proficient in using computers with advanced knowledge of applications (Access, Excel).
• Strong drive and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong relationship-building and collaborative management skills.
• Experience performing cost analysis, such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Purchasing
• Vendor Management
• Production Planning/ Queue management
• Replenishment Planning
• Order Management
• ERP experience (SAP, SAP S4)
• Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables)

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Strong negotiation skills are a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Position Overview:
We need this professional to have strong knowledge in the shift of upstream skills within the Supply Chain industry, ideally will be a mid-level professional. Experience working with customers on planning, forecasting, strategy, and the flow. Strong relationship skills as they will be working with multiple teams. ERP experience is a plus, but system can be taught, anyone with SAP will be fine.

Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure a continuous, reliable flow of incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Manage supplier contacts, purchase order replenishment backlog, and network scheduling via the purchasing portal.
• Oversee upstream backorders, mitigate component shortages, and coordinate material availability.
• Monitor, manage, and drive supplier performance improvements through established KPIs.
• Process daily Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages and escalate recurring issues.
• Partner with suppliers on order confirmations, late deliveries, and continuous improvement/Short Interval Management (SIM) activities.
