Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coordination, marketing operations, merchandising support, or a related role
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe InDesign
• Experience supporting retail merchandising or planogram development

Associate Category Designer Overview
• The Associate Category Designer supports the Category Designer throughout the planogram process and assists in developing merchandising solutions that help drive profitable sales and influence shopper behavior
• This role is responsible for ensuring merchandising communications are accurate, clear, and consistent so store teams can execute updates effectively and on schedule
• The position partners with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Store Operations, and Marketing, to validate content, coordinate timelines, and maintain communication quality
• The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, experienced with Adobe tools, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Duties
• Partner with the Category Designer to develop category merchandising plans and execute those plans across primary and alternate planogram versions
• Assist with creating planogram versions and merchandising bulletins
• Merchandise products creatively and identify opportunities to maximize sales
• Prepare planogram sections for the review process
• Review, proofread, and quality-check all planogram communication materials before distribution
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all store-facing communications
• Coordinate and distribute planogram updates, new item notifications, and discontinued item communications
• Capture product images and record product dimensions for communications
• Check in new product samples
• Interpret planogram content and translate it into clear, actionable store instructions
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Store Operations, and Marketing teams to validate content and timelines
• Maintain version control to ensure stores receive the correct communication materials
• Utilize Adobe tools to review, annotate, and support communication updates
• Manage multiple overlapping deadlines and prioritize workload effectively
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, for tracking, reporting, and communication activities
