Required Skills:

Excel and Smartsheet Expertise: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, dynamic formulas, complex charting, macros/VBA, automated dashboard design) and Smartsheet.

Data Processing & Analytics: Proven expertise in data cleaning, data categorization, quantitative data analysis, and qualitative content/thematic coding.

Data Visualization & Design: Demonstrated ability to build automated dashboards and create visual/infographic products for non-technical audiences.

Work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet strict project deadlines with minimal oversight.

Strong written communication skills with experience writing formal reports, technical documentation, public facing reports, and analytical summaries.

Strong self-direction and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Proven track record of meeting strict project milestones and deliverables.





We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly skilled Data Analysis & Visualization Specialist to assist our team with quantitative and qualitative data management, automated Excel reporting, and visual dashboard creation within the Emergency Preparedness and Response Division.



The ideal candidate is an expert in data modeling, automated Excel template design, and dynamic data visualization who can also handle full-lifecycle data cleaning, coding, analysis, and report generation. You will be responsible for building reproducible tools that enable raw data to be uploaded, processed, and visualized automatically, while turning complex insights into engaging summaries, dashboards, and training products for key stakeholders.



Responsibilities:

1. Excel and Smartsheet Automation, Template & Dashboard Development:

Design and build standardized, automated Excel templates capable of receiving raw data dumps and instantly performing automated analysis.

Develop dynamic visual dashboards, charts, and reports in Smartsheet and Excel (or complementary BI tools) that automatically update upon data refresh.

Streamline data workflows and establish scalable templates to minimize manual data processing.



2. EPR Data Management & Analysis:

Work directly within EPR to extract, manage, query, and validate data outputs.

Perform comprehensive cleaning, standardization, coding, categorization, and analysis on both quantitative and qualitative datasets.

Perform statistical analysis and identify trends, anomalies, and key insights across data sources.



3. Reporting, Visualization & Partner Education:

Translate complex data into user-friendly, high-impact products, including formal written summaries, technical documentation, and infographic-style documents.

Develop visual data assets and training/educational materials for external and internal partners.

Prepare comprehensive technical reports, public facing reports and analytical briefs detailing methodologies, results, and recommendations.
