Required Qualification
• Previous Team Lead, Group Lead, Shift Lead, Senior Operator, or supervisory experience
• Strong manufacturing or production background with experience working in a hands-on production environment.
• Ability to coordinate production priorities and communicate effectively with employees across a manufacturing floor.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, determine causes, and support corrective actions.
• Experience with quality inspections, production documentation, and process audits.
• Ability to train and coach employees while maintaining production and quality expectations.
• Ability to work the assigned 5:00 AM–5:00 PM rotating schedule.

Preferred Qualification
• Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar operational excellence practices.
• Experience working under FDA, GMP, ISO, QMS, or other regulated manufacturing requirements.

Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Team Lead to support daily manufacturing operations in an assigned production area. This role provides floor-level leadership to production employees while helping ensure production schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational goals are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate people, processes, equipment, and priorities in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate daily production activities and workflow to ensure products are processed according to established production schedules.
• Communicate work instructions, priorities, and production expectations to employees within the assigned area.
• Monitor production output, quality, workflow, and work-in-process inventory.
• Conduct regular process and quality audits of employees, tooling, equipment, and production activities.
• Identify production issues, equipment problems, defects, and process gaps and escalate or coordinate resolution as appropriate.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to prevent recurring production problems.
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, retraining, and day-to-day support to production operators.
• Support employees with training requirements and Employee Self Service needs.
• Provide feedback regarding defects and performance and assist with corrective and retraining activities.
• Assist with expediting priority products, orders, and production tasks.
• Inspect rejected components and determine disposition in accordance with established documentation and procedures.
• Perform hands-on manufacturing operations when needed to maintain production schedules and workflow.
• Conduct daily communication meetings with manufacturing operators to improve communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support 5S audits, Lean/continuous improvement activities, and weekly value-stream group meetings.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and calibration requirements are current and properly documented.
• Coordinate purchase requests for required equipment and services.
• Monitor compliance with production procedures, quality systems, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), FDA requirements, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with employees, supervisors, customers, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
