Qualifications/Skills

• Minimum of 10-15 years of related work and managerial experience

• Proficient skills in Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)

• SAP/BW experience preferred but not required

• Film finance experience preferable

Job Summary

Manage all financial aspects of a development accounting for PTVS: including budgeting, cashflow, cost tracking, and variance analysis. This position works closely with Business/Legal Affairs, Creative, Planning and Financial Reporting.



Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

• Review term deal and development deal memos/contracts for updates to contractual data (financial & metadata) in SAP

• Review and issue the development commitment report (management reporting)

• Work with Production Finance and Creative to track the recoupment of term deal guarantees based on services provided.

• Prepare budget and estimates for commitments and cash on a quarterly basis

• Aid in the preparation of expense forecasts on a quarterly basis

• Manage process for billing of coverage/co-development/penalties

• Review term deal overhead allocation

• Determine initial spend date for each project in development to ensure proper recording of development expense

• Review reconciliation of BW reports to SAP on a quarterly basis

• Coordinate internal/external auditors requests on a quarterly basis

• Maintain Purchasing Groups in SAP to ensure payment approver and approval amount guidelines are followed.

• Supervise PTVS Sr. Financial Analyst

• Review and approve travel authorizations and monthly travel charges

• Review payment requests, including monthly term deal overhead/guarantee payments

• Review journal entries

• Prepare quarterly corporate reporting schedules (Balance Sheet deck, 10K/10Q Contractual Obligation, Cadency recons)

• Special projects and ad hoc analysis as required
