Role Overview

The Business Operations Contractor supports the execution of early-stage business initiatives by bringing pilot programs from concept into real-world market testing. This role is responsible for coordinating operational logistics, conducting fieldwork, managing multiple pilot activities, and capturing customer insights to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, takes ownership of execution, and is comfortable performing both strategic coordination and hands-on operational work. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, resourcefulness, and a bias toward rapid experimentation.

Duties

• Coordinate all operational logistics required to launch pilot programs, including sourcing partners, scheduling activities, securing locations, and managing execution details.

• Conduct on-site fieldwork to support pilot launches, customer interactions, partner onboarding, and operational testing.

• Manage multiple pilot initiatives simultaneously by tracking timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and outstanding action items.

• Identify and communicate project risks, blockers, and operational challenges while driving timely resolution.

• Recruit participants, partners, hosts, landlords, tenants, or other stakeholders required for pilot testing and market validation.

• Coordinate training and onboarding activities with third-party vendors and external partners supporting pilot programs.

• Conduct customer conversations, gather operational feedback, and document findings to support business decision-making.

• Prepare clear summaries of pilot outcomes, customer insights, and recommendations for cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support rapid experimentation and continuous improvement of new business initiatives.

• Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality execution across multiple projects.
