Rose International Approved as IT Staffing Vendor With State of Texas

ST. LOUIS, MO - June 16, 1999 - Rose International, a privately held Missouri corporation, today announced that it has been awarded Approved Vendor Status at the State of Texas. Under the agreement Rose will provide technology staffing services to all State of Texas agencies. The contract period is through June of 2001.

Among key considerations in the decision to select Rose is there successful relationship with the State of Missouri agencies. Officials at the State of Missouri introduced Rose to Texas officials and that recommendation went a long way in bringing about this agreement. Rose has developed a keen sense of the unique challenges facing state IT organizations. That customer knowledge in combination with a state of the art method for delivering IT staffing solutions equates to a winning solution for state agencies.

Chairman and CEO Sue Bhatia commented on the agreement, stating, "We owe a great deal of gratitude to the State of Missouri for their effort in introducing us to one of the countries most demanding IT organizations. The state of Texas represents an enormous opportunity to put our abilities to the test. We have created a unique recruiting system that allows the company to recruit, interview and hire highly qualified consultants for specific projects regardless of where our customers and candidates are. In addition, Rose is a certified minority owned firm. States have a vested interest in seeing that minority businesses are made a part of the mainstream business community. This contract brings us to the forefront in the Austin business community.

"The State of Texas relationship is very exciting to our Texas expansion program. We are currently securing contracts in every major city in Texas. We are bringing our national accounts model to Texas and plan to experience aggressive growth in Texas over the next 18 months," said Eric Token, Vice President - Marketing and Operations. "As an approved vendor to the State of Texas, we will have the opportunity to assist in the implementation of their internal information technology programs through both our staffing and specialty services."
