Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent



Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of Shipping or Receiving experience in a manufacturing or retail environment, and/or inventory/warehouse clerical experience

• Intermediate level math skills, Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as proportions and percentages

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

• Knowledge of Word Processing software, Excel, Access, and/or other database software

• Ability to utilize or knowledge of call center telecommunications software



Position Overview:

The Shipping and Receiving Representative is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including palletizing, shipping/receiving, processing returns and order processing. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.



Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips

• Prepare, package, and palletize outgoing shipments for accuracy, safety, and timely delivery

• Load and unload packages using proper equipment and safety procedures

• Receive product deliveries and ensure paperwork associated with product orders is accurate

• Inspect, process, and document all returned products according to company guidelines

• Input received products into database systems as needed

• Receive medical supplies and products from distributors and suppliers and arrange or place them in the warehouse based on organizational and departmental needs

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders as directed by the supervisor and company policies – this may include packing, sealing, labeling, and affixing postage to customer medical supply orders for shipping while using hand tools, scanners, and software tools

• Maintain organized storage of products

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the manager

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, including quarantine areas and palletizing zones

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling stairs, and scanners safely

• Adhere to company policies, OSHA standards, and warehouse safety requirements

• Provide administrative support, including data entry, record keeping, and communication tracking, as needed

• Participate in general warehouse maintenance and organization

• Operate step ladders and hand trucks within safety specifications

• Maintain a safe work environment according to all department procedures

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested, directed, or assigned



Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, kneel, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.

• Occasionally required to stand and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to remain in a constant, stationary standing position

• Position requires frequent movement around the facility with constant work in between

• Occasionally operates a hand truck

• Frequently uses shipping tools such as a tape gun, stapler, pen, packing inflation machine, and box cutter

• Frequently ascends and descends and works on top of a step ladder to pick customer orders and restock supplies received

• Occasionally moves, transports, positions, and/or places medical supply shipments weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the warehouse for various organizational and shipping needs

• Occasionally positions self and reaches to pull medical supply shipments from lower-level shelving and cramped corners or spaces

• Must be able to detect, determine, identify, observe, and inspect medical supply product packaging, serial numbers, identification text, and supplier information at both short and long distances

• On occasion, this position communicates with other department members regarding the status of customer supply orders. The ability to exchange accurate information in these instances is required
