Job Description
***Only qualified “Warehouse Operator” candidates located near the Sparks, Maryland area will be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence***



Required Education

* High school diploma or equivalent



Required Experience

* Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training

* Basic skills training in an analytical scientific method or operational process area such as material handling and management, logistics or manufacturing production

* Ability to perform and operate in a metrics-driven environment

* General computer skills



**Tech Skills**

* Ability to read write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English

* Ability to perform basic math calculations

* Ability to use general computer systems

* Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts conveyors, cranes handcarts and power trucks



**Soft Skills**

* Effective communication skills at a level coworkers and Team Lead or Supervisor can understand

* Ability to work under general to limited supervision

* Ability to follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and quality guidelines

* Ability to complete routine tasks using prescribed steps



**Responsibilities**

* Use a variety of equipment such as forklifts conveyors cranes handcarts and power trucks to move materials parts assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant office or warehouse

* Maintain records as needed

* Develop skills in basic tasks techniques and procedures within an assigned skill area process or method

* Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps

* Follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and scientific methods

* Adhere to established quality guidelines



**Physical Demand**

* Regularly perform walking standing stooping kneeling balancing climbing lifting crouching reaching pulling pushing grasping talking hearing twisting and frequent use of hands for fingering handling feeling picking or typing

* Perform repetitive motions involving the wrists hands or fingers

* Lift and or move items weighing over 50 pounds

* Work near moving mechanical parts extreme weather conditions and vibration

* Occasionally work in high precarious places and around fumes or airborne particles

* Work in hot conditions during summer months with no air conditioning

* Work in cold conditions during winter months with limited heating

* Work in a moderate noise level environment
