Job Description
***Only qualified Warehouse Operator candidates located near the Covington, Georgia area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Forklift Certification



Required Skills

• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment preferred

• Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment

• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and operational procedures

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors

• Experience using inventory control systems and scanners preferred

• Ability to verify catalog numbers lot numbers quantities and expiration dates

• Ability to assemble and build sterilization loads according to procedures

• Ability to maintain organized and clean work areas following quality regulations

• Strong logic reasoning and problem solving skills

• Good oral and written communication skills in Basic English

• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Must pass Lift Drivers Test

• Ability to work between Covington and Madison plants as needed

• Candidates must complete the forklift questionnaire prior to submission



Physical Demands

• Regularly use hands to handle feel and move materials

• Occasionally stand reach and lift up to 30 pounds

• Ability to perform heavy lifting pulling bending and prolonged standing

• Ability to work in hot humid and loud warehouse environments

• Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts electrical equipment and chemicals

• Willingness to work off hours as required



Responsibilities

• Unload inbound trucks and verify numbers and quantities

• Stack boxes onto specific pallet patterns

• Drive forklift and locate pallets into racks

• Accept materials from divisions and departments for sterilization processing

• Complete JD Edwards transactions using IBM Data Collection scanners

• Place Biological Indicators into sterilization loads

• Initiate sterilization load record documentation

• Locate materials into pallet and BIN locations

• Operate inventory control systems where applicable

• Support buying and selling processes

• Maintain acceptable work areas according to procedures and quality regulations

• Perform additional duties as assigned
