Job Description
Only qualified Warehouse Operator candidates located near the Canaan, Connecticut area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
• 0 to 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience
• Ability to operate forklifts and maintain certifications
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English and perform basic math calculations
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• General computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the warehouse
• Perform material handling using various equipment such as conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks
• Maintain basic records related to material movement and operations
• Follow SOPs and quality guidelines while completing assigned tasks
• Apply basic knowledge to complete routine warehouse tasks with accuracy
• Work under general supervision and follow instructions from supervisors
• Support a metrics-driven environment with a focus on productivity and accuracy
