Job Description
Required Education:
• Associate’s degree plus 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
Preferred certification:
• InfoComm CTS certification
Required Skills & Experience:
• Experience with A/V and classroom controller hardware/software
• Technical knowledge of video and web conferencing tools
• Experience with both Windows and Apple systems
Job Responsibilities
• Direct A/V support for classrooms, academic spaces, and events
• Troubleshooting moderately complex A/V and classroom technology issues
• Supporting installations, setups, system status, and downtime procedures
• Training, scheduling, and managing staff and/or student employees
• Streaming and web-conferencing knowledge, Camera operation, Understanding of room A/V equipment, Portable sound reinforcement, and video projection
• Strong customer service, Adaptability, organization, communication, and flexibility
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed
Preferred Experience
• Experience in higher education A/V or technology support
• Experience training others on technology use
