Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, including prioritizing and addressing user issues and tickets
• Minimum 2 years of experience onboarding users to Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook
• Minimum 2 years of experience migrating end-user emails and documents to Microsoft 365 (Outlook and OneDrive)
• Strong experience with hardware deployments, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
• Experience with data migration from legacy systems to M365
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support end users in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and provide timely customer support
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Active Directory users, computers, groups, and policies (2 years)
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 (2 years)
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2016, including mail, calendar, and contacts (2 years)
• Experience with basic network configuration and troubleshooting (wired and wireless, ping, traceroute) (1 year)
• Knowledge of court processes and court information systems
• Experience with mobile device configuration and support
Data Migration Field Support Technician Overview:
The Data Migration Field Support Technician supports data migration and IT field services for the client. This role involves deploying hardware, migrating user data to Microsoft 365, and providing technical support for end users. The position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to work onsite while collaborating with IT teams and staff. The technician plays a key role in ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms while maintaining high levels of service and operational efficiency
Job Duties:
• Provide data migration support, including transferring emails and documents to Microsoft 365
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
• Coordinate and execute data migration from decommissioned devices to new systems
• Install, configure, and maintain software on mobile devices
• Provide responsive end-user support and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with IT leadership and court staff to prioritize tasks and projects
• Assist with equipment shipments, inventory tracking, and surplus processing
• Maintain accurate records of hardware and asset inventory
• Support office moves, additions, and changes for court staff
• Communicate with users regarding issue status, resolutions, and task completion
• Escalate issues to technical teams as necessary
• Collaborate with IT staff to test and validate new hardware and applications
• Attend meetings and support ongoing IT initiatives
