Education:
• Bachelor’s degree

Requirements:
• Five (5) years of experience in UX design for web-based applications.
• Four (4) years of experience designing WCAG 2.1 AA–compliant webpages.
• Five (5) years of experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
• Three (3) years of experience in information architecture and interaction design.
• Two (2) years of experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Proven experience applying accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Strong background in user research, persona development, and usability testing.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Proficiency in visual, UI, and interaction design.
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
• Experience designing mobile applications, particularly for ticketing or payment systems.
• Familiarity with transit systems, fare structures, and validation devices.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Blazor).
• Experience with data-driven and analytics-informed design.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• UX certifications and training in accessibility or Agile methodologies preferred.
• Strong empathy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and user-centered Senior UX Designer to lead research and design efforts for enterprise digital platforms. This role will partner closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences that align with business goals and industry standards.

Job Duties:
• Lead user research activities, including interviews and usability testing, to inform design strategy and direction.
• Design intuitive, accessible interfaces and workflows across digital platforms in alignment with established standards.
• Develop low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to iteratively refine solutions.
• Conduct 8–10 user interviews and 2–3 usability testing sessions per sprint.
• Design 20+ key interface screens and workflows per core application module, adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Audit and enhance existing interfaces for brand consistency and inclusive design.
• Present bi-weekly design reviews to stakeholders and provide annotated handoff documentation.
• Ensure deliverables meet brand, accessibility, and universal design requirements.
• Support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Deliverables
• User Research Reports: Bi-weekly summaries of insights and findings.
• Wireframes and Mockups: Iterative low- and high-fidelity designs.
• Interactive Prototypes: Clickable, annotated prototypes delivered at sprint completion.
• Design Documentation: Style guides, component libraries, and handoff specifications.
• Stakeholder Presentations: Design review decks and demos.
• Status Reports: Regular updates on progress, risks, and next steps.
