Required Skills and Experience
• 10+ years of hands-on experience testing retail POS systems
• Strong retail domain experience with POS transactions and workflows
• Experience leading execution as a senior tester or hands-on QA lead
• Experience creating test scenarios test cases, and documenting defects
• Ability to validate data using SQL queries
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and provide visibility into work progress and issues
• Experience working in cross-functional onshore and offshore environments
• Commitment to delivering high-quality production-ready solutions

Role:
We are seeking hands-on Senior QA Lead /Testers with deep retail POS experience. This role is part of a high-performing, cross-functional QA organization working in an onshore/offshore model and reporting to a QA Manager.
This is a highly hands-on execution role, not a coordination-only position. The Senior QA Lead Tester actively designs, executes, and validates POS testing while collaborating closely with test leadership, application teams, and business partners.
Responsibilities
• Act as a hands-on senior tester lead participating in POS testing activities
• Participate in functional and technical design reviews
• Create review and maintain POS test scenarios and test cases
• Validate and manage test data in testing environments
• Execute POS test cases and provide proof of testing and traceability
• Perform end to end validation of sales returns exchanges refunds promotions discounts taxes and tender processing
• Document defects with detailed evidence and business impact
• Collaborate with application teams to support defect resolution and retesting
• Communicate execution status risks and issues to project teams
• Drive issues and defects through closure with strong ownership
• Deliver testing activities within project timelines and priorities
• Support collaborative cross functional QA operations
