Job Description
Education & Professional Experience:
• Educational background in acoustics, audio engineering, and/or hearing sciences
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in acoustic validation and audio QA.
Role Overview:
• Support regulatory Acoustics Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) testing for the Hearing Test Feature and Hearing Aid Feature by (1) executing acoustic measurements and tool validation and (2) improving their processes through SOP development, tool development, and documentation.
Key Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of acoustics and signal processing fundamentals
• Proficiency with SoundCheck audio measurement software
• Experience executing and debugging scripts in Python and MATLAB
• Familiarity with acoustic measurement equipment: ear simulators, audio interfaces, signal conditioners, etc.
• Ability to work independently to solve technical problems
• Good organizational skills, including documentation and prompt communication with colleagues and collaborators. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
