Required Equipment:

Required Education:
• High School degree required
Preferred Education:
• Associates degree with a scientific degree and no experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 2 years relevant experience in a regulated environment

• Can effectively work in a team setting and communicate effectively across the department
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to be punctual in order to ensure production
• Ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specification
• Ability to operate independently within the constraints of approved process-related documentation
• Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
• Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of a Windows environment
Manufacturing Technologist Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and Duties
• Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment.
• Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.
• Assists with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
• Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization. Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.
• Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications
• Provides training support for on-boarding and/or new procedureso Provides support to the lead/supervisor when necessary
• Provides continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency
• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Must follow all housekeeping policies and procedures
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment. Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
