Technical Skills
(Required)
- Minimum 3 years of document control experience
- Experience with ISO9001, ISO17025 or CQMS

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
• Write, update, issue, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) documentation, including but not limited to SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms and Technical Files.

Reason/motivation for request:
• This position will be part of the Quality Management team at CMO. They will be the subject matter expert on all things relative to documentation.

Typical task breakdown:
• Responsible for change control, revision history, retention, and access to documentation.
• Reviewing correct formatting and completeness of documentation.
• Ensuring availability and publishing of controlled documents.
• Timely distribution of latest revision level documents and records to appropriate users and ensuring that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution and publication.

Interaction with team:
- The Technical Writer will work directly with all members of the Quality Management team to collaborate on document control.

Work environment:
- CMO is a fast-paced foundry and machining environment.

Education & Experience Required:
• Experience must demonstrate knowledge of document control, revisions, and overall maintenance as well as editing, and/or authoring SOPs and maintaining training documents.
• Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Experience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
