Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume call center environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working in changing shift schedules based on project needs
• Ability to accurately document updates and validations in tracking systems
• Ability to work onsite and attend onsite paid training

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience supporting technology rollouts or technical implementation projects
• Experience assisting technicians, contractors, or vendors
• IT hardware installation or technical support experience
• Experience in a fast-paced operational or support environment

Application Technical Specialist Overview:
• This is a temporary contractor position supporting technology rollout projects in a high-volume call center environment. The role focuses on assisting technicians, vendors, and contractors during the implementation and upgrade of technology hardware in retail store locations. This is not a traditional customer service call center role, as calls will primarily involve technical implementation support and troubleshooting coordination.
• Representatives will manage inbound and outbound calls through a queue system while updating tracking applications, validating system information, and communicating updates through email and Microsoft Office applications. Team members will also provide first-level troubleshooting assistance to field technicians and ensure all implementation protocols are followed during project execution.
• Candidates must be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Project schedules may vary and can include evening, overnight, or different time-zone support. Shift schedules may fluctuate based on business and project needs, with advance notice provided whenever possible. Paid onsite training will be provided along with project handbooks and system access.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in real time while supporting large-scale technology implementation initiatives.

Job Duties:
• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to technology rollout projects
• Support technicians, vendors, and contractors during hardware implementation activities
• Provide first-level troubleshooting assistance for onsite technical issues
• Update tracking systems and validate project information
• Document updates and communicate project status via email and Microsoft Office applications
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously
• Follow project implementation protocols and escalation procedures
• Participate in onsite paid training and ongoing project support activities

Specific Details to Call Attention To:
• This is a temporary contractor assignment
• Position is fully onsite in Rhode Island
• Candidates must be able to work onsite 4–5 days per week
• Shift schedules may fluctuate based on project and time-zone requirements
• Projects may require evening or overnight schedule flexibility
• Paid training is onsite and scheduled within the 8 AM – 8 PM window
• Candidates must be comfortable supporting multiple technical rollout projects simultaneously
• Ideal candidates will have exposure to IT hardware installations, technical troubleshooting, or technology implementation support
