Required Education:
• High School Diploma or GED
Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Clear, accurate, and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment
• Ability to adjust shift schedules based on project requirements
• Ability to document activities accurately using internal tracking tools, email, and spreadsheets
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience supporting IT or technology-related environments
• IT hardware installation experience
Technology Support Specialist – Overview:
• The role involves assisting field technicians, vendors, and contractors who are implementing technology solutions in retail store locations
• Unlike traditional customer service call centers, calls are primarily received from technical personnel performing on-site technology installations and upgrades
• The selected candidate will provide first-level troubleshooting support, ensure implementation protocols are followed, and accurately document all interactions within tracking systems
• The role requires managing multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously, which may involve evening or night project activity across various time zones
• Flexibility in shift scheduling is required to support project timelines
• Comprehensive training, project documentation, and system access will be provided to ensure successful onboarding and performance
Job Duties:
• Handle inbound calls from field technicians, vendors, and contractors performing technology installations in store locations
• Make outbound calls when required to support project implementation
• Provide first-level technical troubleshooting support for on-site technology issues
• Ensure project implementation protocols and procedures are followed
• Update tracking applications and validate system information during and after calls
• Provide project updates and documentation through email and Excel when not handling calls
• Support multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously
• Assist field technicians during technology implementations and upgrades
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding project progress
Specific Details to Call Attention To:
• This is not a traditional customer service call center role; calls are received from technicians, contractors, and vendors implementing technology in stores
• Position requires supporting multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously
• Shift flexibility is required as project implementations may occur during evenings, nights, or across different time zones
• Training will be conducted onsite for 5 days per week, with training hours scheduled within the 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM window
• After training, the role follows a Monday–Friday 8-hour shift schedule, which may fluctuate depending on project needs and time zone coverage - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
