Job Description
Required Skills
1. Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
2. Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.
3. Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause.
4. Ability to read and comprehend engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.
5. Ability to maintain necessary product records and documentation.
6. Ability to work independently.
Required Education: A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
• Minimum one year of related experience (required)
• Three or more years of related experience (preferred)
Desired Skills
1. Strong mechanical aptitude
2. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components
3. Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
4. Experience in one or more of the following areas:
a. Electronics
b. Electrician/Electrical contracting
c. On-road/off-road Automotive repair
d. Communication/Networking hardware
e. Robotics, automation, or mechatronics
f. Farming
Job Duties
1. Conduct manual test of electronic assemblies and document results.
2. Set up lab equipment per engineering instruction.
3. Perform maintenance on equipment and products.
Typical Day
• Testing and verifying electronic assemblies for production readiness
• Using engineering documentation to set up and run test procedures
• Operating standard test equipment
• Recording results accurately and maintaining required documentation
• Performing routine equipment maintenance
• Working independently in a hands-on technical environment
• Training on first shift before moving to 2pm–10pm schedule
• Wearing metatarsals as required
