Job Description
***Only qualified Senior z/OS Technical Specialist – Endevor, DB2 & CICS Administration candidates located in the Raleigh, NC area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality (7 Years)
• Experience providing configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software (7 Years)
• Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques (7 Years)
• Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2 (7 Years)
• Ability to evaluate complex SQL queries (7 Years)
Job Responsibilities:
• Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
• The ability to provide configuration management /release management support and guidance for Endevor software
• Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
• Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
• The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
• The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel
