Sr. Technical Consultant Prolog SME
Looking to hire a highly experienced Visual Prolog developer with a great background in COBOL to work on a mainframe modernization project.
• This is an expert-level position, so the candidate must be able to show experience in this kind of work. Require someone who can bring expertise to handle the development/maintenance of our COBOL parser tool.
• The Visual Prolog developer's job requires maintenance of current Prolog parser that process/parse COBOL program and create XML file of all COBOL command.

Requirements Mandatory Skills, Certifications and Experience:
• Development in PROJOG 8/10, 3 years minimum Experience with Recursive Pattern Matching
• Essential: Prolog, Visual Prolog 8+ - Essential: XML
• Essential: Capability to work with Git/Azure dev ops
• Essential: Team player Desirable Skills, Certifications and Experience Experience / knowledge of java / C# Experience / knowledge of COBOL IBM Mainframe
• Optional: Familiar with lexical analysis concepts (lexers/parsers/abstract/concrete syntax trees, etc.)
• Optional: Familiar with [e]bnf notation - Optional: Familiar with Cobol and other legacy languages
• Optional: Familiar with how character code pages work (ebcdic 037+, utf-16le, shift-jis, etc.) Nice to have: C#, Japanese
