Job Description
Required Education:
• High School or equivalent.
Required Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years comparable work experience, tax experience preferred
• Must be accurate, organized, and flexible to handle work on numerous projects
• Strong proficiency with:
• Microsoft 365 applications (including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word)
• DocuSign
• Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Experience with the postage meter.
Job Responsibilities:
• Processing numerous sales, use & property, income tax, tax returns, etc. (obtaining appropriate signatures through DocuSign) and preparation for e-filing, or mailing and filing.
• Work in the office at least once a week:
• mail distribution
• assist with Assignee tax equalization check processing
• assist with records inventory
• certified mail of documents and checks at Post Office
• send out documents by FedEx
Assist on Assignee Tax functions:
• Draft response letters to IRS/State notices
• Assist on Assignee tax matters, equalizations, etc.
• Assist on Abandoned Property report filings
• Administrative functions (invoice payments, scanning, copying, FedEx, Certified Mail, etc.)
• Special Projects as assigned - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
