Job Description
Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering



Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in machine, vehicle, or system validation across multiple applications

• Hands on experience with machine setup, configuration, and instrumentation for validation

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, diagnostics, communication protocols)

• Experience using Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio)

• Experience using Wireshark for network packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting

• Experience validating embedded or distributed control systems

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills

• Ability to work effectively in cross functional and multi disciplinary teams

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Great teamwork, communication, analysis, and troubleshooting skills

• Comfortable working in lab and machine environments

• Able to manage multiple validation efforts in parallel



Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with off highway, automotive, autonomous, or industrial machines

• Experience supporting machine maintenance or test equipment upkeep in a validation environment

• Exposure to requirements and test management tools (e.g., Jama, DOORS, Azure DevOps)

• Experience with HIL, SIL, or automated test frameworks

• Familiarity with diagnostics, logging, and data analysis tools

• Experience supporting customer reported or field reported issues



Top Skills:

• 4-5 years of System Integration and Validation experience in embedded system

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills

• Hands on experience with Vector CAN Tools and Wireshark



Job Duties:

• This position is for a System Validation Engineer as part of the remote control teams.

• This individual will also help with product integration.

• Plan and execute system level validation and verification for machines and integrated systems

• Perform system integration, and regression testing across hardware, software, controls, and networks

• Configure machines for validation, including software flashing and test setup

• Instrument systems and collect data using sensors, loggers, and diagnostic tools

• Validate communication interfaces using Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL) and Wireshark

• Analyze logs and network data; troubleshoot multi domain system issues

• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and validation documentation

• Collaborate cross functionally to resolve defects and validate fixes

• Apply systems engineering practices to ensure requirements coverage and end to end system performance
