Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
(Candidates must meet all minimum requirements to be considered)
• 2 years (Required): Experience analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes or improve computer systems.
• 2 years (Required): Experience documenting detailed user needs, program functions, and system development or modification steps.
• 2 years (Required): Experience evaluating system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine solution feasibility.
• 2 years (Required): Experience in problem-solving, including scheduling, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years (Preferred): Experience conducting cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies for IT solutions.
• 3+ years (Preferred): Experience working directly with cross-functional business and technical teams in requirements gathering and system implementation.
• 3+ years (Preferred): Experience supporting full system development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, testing, and deployment.
• 1–2 years (Preferred): Experience with documentation tools, workflow modeling, or business analysis methodologies (e.g., process mapping, use cases).
• 1–2 years (Preferred): Experience working in public sector or large enterprise environments.

Summary:
• Evaluate business objectives and challenges to identify and recommend technology-driven solutions.
• Conducts analysis of user requirements, workflows, and system capabilities to enhance or automate business processes.
• Performs cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define system needs, document specifications, and improve existing computer systems.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze business objectives and operational procedures to identify system improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements, including data inputs, outputs, and reporting needs.
• Develop detailed functional specifications outlining system logic, workflows, and program requirements.
• Evaluate system capabilities, constraints, and technical feasibility for requested enhancements or new solutions.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis to compare alternative solutions.
• Support the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in planning and scheduling system enhancements and deployments.
• Ensure solutions align with organizational goals, performance expectations, and technical standards.
