Job Description
**Candidates must be located in the Austin, TX area **

Minimum Requirements:
• 7+ years of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience
• 8+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks, including Angular and TypeScript
• 8+ years of strong Java backend development experience, including designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• 8+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL database design
• 8+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• 8+ years of experience deploying applications in cloud native or serverless environments
• 8+ years of experience with event driven architecture patterns
• 8+ years of experience integrating DevSecOps practices into development workflows
• 8+ years of experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience refactoring monolithic applications into microservices
• 4+ years of experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Application Insights, Prometheus)
• 4+ years of experience with feature flags and progressive delivery techniques
• 4+ years of demonstrated ability to produce clean, maintainable code and high quality technical documentation
• 4+ years of active participation in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and peer code reviews

Summary:
• The Full Stack Developer (Angular/Java) will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern, scalable, cloud native applications.
• This role focuses on refactoring legacy systems into microservices, building responsive and user friendly frontend experiences, and developing secure, observable backend services.
• The position requires strong analytical skills to understand business objectives, analyze system and user requirements, and propose technical solutions supported by cost/benefit analysis.

Responsibilities:
• Understand business objectives and operational challenges; identify alternative technical solutions and perform cost/benefit and feasibility analyses.
• Analyze user requirements, workflows, and system procedures to automate processes or enhance existing computer systems.
• Confer with business and technical stakeholders to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and define detailed input/output requirements (data inputs, data summarization, and reporting formats).
• Produce detailed functional and technical documentation describing user needs, program functions, system behaviors, and development or modification steps.
• Assess existing computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility of requested enhancements or new programs.
• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Develop backend services using Java, including the design and consumption of RESTful APIs.
• Refactor monolithic applications into microservices-based, cloud native architectures.
• Implement secure, scalable, and observable services using modern DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, participating in ceremonies, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
