Job Description
Required Education:
• Undergraduate degree in business or related discipline.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 0 - 2 years of procurement work experience.
• Must possess excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Must be PC literate.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Functional skills in MRP, PC proficiency, purchasing systems/procedures, and supplier management.

Coordinator, Supply Planning Overview:
The Supply Planning Coordinator is responsible for managing the continuity of supply by utilizing MRP system suggestions to issue and manage purchase orders. This role serves as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal customers, ensuring clear communication regarding inventory status, supply issues, and engineering changes. The coordinator will manage supplier relationships, hold them accountable to shipment plans, and challenge price increases to support business goals.

Job Duties:
• Systems Knowledge
• Issue suggested purchase orders based upon MRP system suggestions and customer demand.
• Request changes to purchase order dates from suppliers based upon MRP system suggestions and demand changes.
• Update the MRP system to ensure clear communication of expected inventory.
• Monitor open purchase orders and ensure on-time receipt.
• Issue purchase orders to support engineering changes.

• Customer Management
• Update the business on the status and direction of your business on a daily basis or as required.
• Update internal customers on supply issues and drive them to resolution.
• Coordinate engineering changes between internal customers and suppliers.

• Supplier Management
• Update purchase orders as required.
• Manage suppliers to maintain continuity of supply and product availability.
• Challenge all price increase requests from suppliers and escalate if unsuccessful.
• Serve as the single point of contact for suppliers for SICR/Change Order tracking and prioritization.
• Hold suppliers accountable to the shipment plan.
