Job Description

Staff Accountant Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience with ability to succeed in a deadline driven and fast paced general ledger accounting environment to include performing monthly financial closings including account reconciliations
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Previous experience with an ERP system (Oracle/SAP preferred)
• Understanding of GAAP

Required Education:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting

• Pro-active attitude with regard to identifying and implementing process improvements.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
• Perform month end close procedures
• Account reconciliation and analysis
• Recording of standard and complex journal entries
• Fixed asset accounting
• Interco accounting
• Judgmental accruals
• Ensuring GL integrity, timely and accurate posting to appropriate accounts
• Special projects as assigned
