Job Description
Senior Sourcing Specialist
Required Education:
•High School Diploma Required
Required Qualifications:
• Prior experience working closely with external suppliers/partners including: negotiations, RFI and RFP development, contract negotiations and contract development.
• Experience with standardizing specifications; rationalizing supply base, reducing consumption, and lowering total cost of ownership.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing efforts with competing deadlines.
• Experience leading formal requirement reviews to gather business requirements and develop appropriate supplier specific sourcing strategies.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to include sourcing strategy, alternatives, cost models, etc. working with Category managers and others to achieve finalization and sign-off.
• Ability to keep data updated in systems, and bi-weekly reporting
Responsibilities:
• Will assist with the volume of contracts in IT Software, Labor, Hardware or Telecom space.
• Successfully lead, execute and manage sourcing category initiatives and activities.
• Sourcing initiatives are key to business initiatives aimed at successful operations of the bank and to accomplish broad, long-term strategic objectives such as enhancing revenue, improving quality and/or efficiency
• Improving the processes, affecting cost savings and advancing technological development
• Impacting talent management
• Advancing teammate capabilities, implementing new product initiatives, or other strategic priorities - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
