About the Opportunity
The Client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect/Senior Application Developer to lead the design and development. This high-impact project will modernize the state's asset forfeiture reporting process by replacing legacy processes with a secure, scalable Microsoft 365 Power Platform solution.
The selected contractor will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to build an enterprise application supporting statewide law enforcement agencies, administrative workflows, compliance reporting, public transparency, and data integration.
This engagement is ideal for a senior Power Platform consultant with experience delivering enterprise solutions in government or highly regulated environments.
What You'll Do:
As the lead developer and solution architect, you will:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy a Microsoft Power Platform solution utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, and Microsoft 365.
• Develop secure role-based authentication and agency-level user management.
• Build agency and administrative dashboards.
• Create complex electronic forms with extensive business rules, conditional logic, calculations, electronic signatures, and data validation.
• Implement configurable workflows for report submission, review, approval, and revision.
• Configure automated email notifications throughout the reporting lifecycle.
• Develop reporting capabilities, compliance monitoring dashboards, reconciliation reports, and ad hoc reporting tools.
• Design and implement REST APIs and CSV export functionality.
• Integrate application data with Tableau.
• Develop a public-facing website that automatically publishes approved asset forfeiture data.
• Migrate historical data from the existing application.
• Implement audit logging, security controls, and administrative management features.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in user acceptance testing and production deployment.
