Job Description
***Only qualified Senior Quality Analyst candidates located near the Indianapolis, IN area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Education:
•Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
Experience:
•Software quality assurance experience (5+ Years)
•Working knowledge of SQL plus and SOAP-UI
Overview: The Quality Assurance Analyst will be dedicated to developing, maintaining and executing quality assurance testing procedures to ensure the quality of final Information Technology Work products. Incumbent reports to the QA Manager.
Essential Duties:
•Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system, integration, performance and "ad-hoc testing"
•Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests
•Perform requirements reviews and ensure good test coverage
•Document quality assurance practices
•Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments
•Manually test any new software to ensure functional requirements, system compliance and technical specifications are adhered to Report and track bugs
•Interface with client’s external technology service providers as needed for Quality Assurance activities
Job Requirements:
•Well-versed in software process methodologies and a solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process
•Ability to follow instructions, work independently, or function in a team as needed
•Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
•Ability to effectively present to and interact with all levels of management
•Highly adaptive and flexible to a changing environment
•Detail oriented and a problem solver
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to identify test data using SQL Plus
•Experience testing web service using SOAP-UI or similar tool
