Job Description
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of overall Java backend experience
• Experience building and operating large-scale, consumer-facing web applications and services
• Proficiency in server-side technologies, cloud technologies, web development, and the desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team operating in a DevOps model
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
Bonus Points:
• Expertise in service design, discovery, and runtime orchestration systems
• Experience building and operating high-traffic services & APIs
Duties:
• Drive large-scale projects to completion, from inception to production
• Interface directly with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
• Mentor other team members and foster a culture of growth
• Operate in a fast-moving environment, make quick decisions, and execute fiercely to deliver outcomes
• Take passion in going deep into critical issues and apply the learnings back into the product and team, whether technical or procedural
