Job Description

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Required Experience/Skills:
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Application Testing, preferably within enterprise environments
• Senior-level experience in Quality Engineering for Mobile Applications, including both iOS and Android platforms
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and strategies with a deep understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with the following required tools and technologies: qTest, Sauce Labs, XCUI, Espresso, .NET API testing
• Strong experience in manual testing, automation testing, and performance engineering across mobile and API layers
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and their practical application in testing and automation frameworks.
Job duties:
• Lead and coordinate the work of Quality Engineering team members, assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery of testing objectives
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks for mobile applications using XCUI Test and Espresso
• Manage and track test cases, defects, and test execution using qTest
• Execute automated tests in Sauce Labs to validate mobile applications across multiple devices and platforms
• Develop and maintain .NET API test automation to validate backend services and integrations
• Perform manual testing, exploratory testing, and performance testing to ensure high-quality application releases
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Review code and test automation implementations to ensure best practices, design patterns, and maintainability
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing test automation frameworks and testing processes
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional defects across mobile and API systems
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and provide accurate effort estimation for testing activities
• Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, test results, and quality metrics
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation, performance engineering, and overall quality engineering practices
