Job Title: C# Software Developer 1
Location: Johnson City, TN, 37604
Duration: 12 Months, potential to go permanent
Schedule: 9am-4pm


Description:
• BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• The job will be 5 days a week (40 hours) in office, in Johnson City, TN for the first several months. After that, there can be a negotiation about splitting time (say 3 days a week in office). But fully remote work, from day 1, is not an option.
• A BS (or better) in computer science or computer engineering is required. Do not bother to submit candidates that do not meet this requirement. They will be rejected.
• Programming experience in C# is required. We will judge the level of experience and competence in the initial phone screening
• Object Oriented programming experience is required. Ditto above.
• Linux programming experience is a big wish, but not absolutely required. We can train here, but it would be nice to bring folks in who at least have some knowledge.
• ***CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A BS IN COMUPTER SCIENCE OR COMPUTER ENGINEERING***

REQUIRED Knowledge, Education, and Experience
• BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Proficient in C# programming language and object-oriented design methodology (NOT SELF TAUGHT)
• Self-motivated and results-oriented

Description / Position Overview
• Primary responsibility will be to implement and test solutions on a Windows-based C# desktop application.
• Agile/Lean software development process.
• General Client description for a software developer 1:
• Develops software.
• Reviews relevant requirements, standards and other documentation to clarify and understand software engineering requirements.
• Provides estimates for modules under development, and estimates own work.
• Completes the development of software test requirements for modules under development.
• Executes software (unit and integration) tests.
• Presents technical findings and developments.
• Adheres to the software quality process through the execution of module, subsystem and system test procedures.
• Analyzes localization requirements and designs/adapts products and solutions accordingly.
