Job Description
**Candidates must be located in the Austin, TX area **
Minimum Requirements:
• 4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or advanced data science.
• 4 years of proven experience building and deploying production grade autonomous agents.
• 4 years of strong experience in context engineering.
• 4 years of deep, hands on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGPT.
• 4 years of experience implementing RAG architectures using vector databases.
• 4 years of proficiency in Python and major AI/ML libraries and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure AI).
• 4 years of experience integrating LLMs via APIs.
• 4 years of experience with AI governance, model lifecycle management, and evaluation frameworks.
• 4 years of experience implementing and extending the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to provide secure, standardized LLM access to local and remote data sources.
• 4 years of experience implementing AI guardrails, content filtering, and safety controls.
• 4 years of demonstrated understanding of data privacy principles and secure handling of PII/PHI.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience building multi agent or autonomous agentic workflows.
• 2 years of experience optimizing LLM cost, token usage, and runtime performance.
• M 2 years of familiarity with enterprise AI deployment patterns, scalability, and production operations.
Summary:
• Designs, develops, and manages AI driven software programs with a focus on agentic systems, autonomous workflows, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Responsible for researching, designing, implementing, testing, and evaluating new AI programs that enhance productivity, automate complex processes, and support intelligent decision making.
• Works closely with software developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts to deliver secure, scalable, and cost efficient AI solutions.
• Emphasizes AI governance, security controls, and responsible AI practices across the full model lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Research, design, implement, and manage AI driven and agentic software programs.
• Build, deploy, and maintain production grade autonomous agents and multi agent workflows.
• Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) via APIs to support intelligent automation and decision making.
• Conduct testing, evaluation, and performance tuning of AI systems and new programs.
• Implement AI guardrails, content filtering, and safety controls to ensure responsible usage.
• Apply AI governance, model lifecycle management, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive data, including PII and PHI, in compliance with data privacy standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts to translate business needs into technical AI solutions.
