Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical/business discipline/equivalent work experience



Required Experience:

• Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience with the Maximo Application suite



Job overview:

• This role directly supports a high-priority MAS migration and software optimization project

• It requires working closely with IT subject matter experts, key stakeholders from multiple business areas, external implementation partners, and the IBM support team to provide expert Maximo functional and technical guidance



Required Qualifications:

• Ability to monitor and maintain performance metrics for system features, and recommend and take corrective/preventative actions.

• Technical knowledge of all phases of software implementation and support, with the ability to deploy solutions to the operational production environment.

• Demonstrated ability to direct and/or conduct implementation of enhancements or changes involving custom design, optional software, and third-party products.

• Proven ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot software and system problems involving software infrastructure modules.

• Ability to work directly with client team members, colleagues, and external implementation partners/IBM support teams to achieve project goals.



Required Technical Skills

• Maximo Configurations: Deep expertise in Database Configuration, Escalations, Cron Tasks, Domains, Conditional Expression Manager, etc.

• Customizations & Integrations: Expertise in Java Customizations, Automation Scripts, and integrating Maximo with external applications (e.g., SAP, Ariba).

• Maximo Modules: Core knowledge of Manage, Spatial, and Mobile.

• Databases & Scripting: Experience with relational databases, Microsoft SQL Server, and writing SQL scripts.

• Operating Systems & Infrastructure: Proficient with Windows Server 2003/2008/2012; strong hands-on understanding of operating systems, infrastructure troubleshooting, and WebSphere.

• Systems Administration: Demonstrated understanding of Active Directory/DNS, User/User Rights management, File System Rights (NTFS Permissions), security configuration, group policy management, and data backup management.

• Reporting: Knowledge of designing and developing BIRT reports.

• Knowledge of systems and software debugging.



Responsibilities

• Application Development & Support: Design, develop, and support application solutions using Maximo 7.6.x / MAS.

• Production Support: Provide ongoing production support, maintenance, and resolve user issues regarding system performance, availability, and functionality to ensure a stable platform for daily operations.

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with middleware teams to provide solutions, and partner with the infrastructure team to fix infrastructure issues.

• Knowledge Sharing: Develop and share functional and business expertise with the project team.

• Data Management: Write SQL scripts to provide on-demand data extracts to the business.
