Job Description

Job Title: Service Infrastructure and Operations
Duration: Quarterly extensions based on performance and budget
Location: 100% Remote (Should be comfortable working in PST hours)

Required Skills:
5-7yr experience in Python, Golang and Kubernetes
Development Experience working with Git, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines
Operational Experience with cloud-based service infrastructure
Implement service monitoring, integration testing, release automation and release

Job Description:
1. Enhance deployment process to ensure zero downtime, including automated blue/green deployments with rollbacks.
2. Provide operational support for Kubernetes-based (multi-cloud) services and a variety of data backends, including runbooks, monitoring and alerting.
3. Extend coverage for service/client-based integration tests.
4. Implement automated performance framework and tests to identify and prevent release of performance regressions.

Top 2-3 skills:
1. Kubernetes (configuration, operations, build applications on top of)
2. Python and/or Golang
3. DevOps: Git, Github, CI/CD pipelines

Anything that would automatically disqualify a candidate:
1. Poor coding ability
2. Cloud infra experience over-indexed to AWS-specific technology
3. Poor organization, communication, focus

Years of experience: 5+ years
