Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications using TypeScript
• 1+ year of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Experience developing web applications using Svelte/SvelteKit
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform deployment and administration in public and private cloud environments
• Experience with containerized application development and cloud-native architectures
• Familiarity with Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira or VersionOne
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience designing cloud-ready distributed applications
• Experience migrating traditional applications to containerized environments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts
• Experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Svelte Developer to join our Enterprise IT team in building and enhancing cloud-ready enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, SQL Server, and Red Hat OpenShift, along with a solid understanding of cloud-native development, containerization, and CI/CD automation.
This role requires a self-motivated engineer who enjoys collaborating with Agile teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions while contributing to modern software delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance enterprise applications using Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Implement customer requirements within existing enterprise software platforms
• Design and develop cloud-ready, containerized application solutions
• Deploy and manage applications on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
• Design distributed application architectures for scalable cloud environments
• Support migration of existing workloads to containerized platforms
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab
• Assist in the design, implementation, and operation of continuous delivery frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and deployment best practices
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to process improvements
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable enterprise applications
• Follow Agile methodologies using tools such as Jira or VersionOne
