Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and PC navigation
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the work shift
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing between 20 and 50 pounds
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Understanding of basic production concepts and processes
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Previous experience operating production, printing, sorting, or mailing equipment
• Experience performing quality checks and verifying production quantities
• Experience working with automated production or mail-sorting equipment

Production Associate Overview:
• As a Production Associate, you will be trained to set up and operate various printing and sorting machines.
• Adjust equipment to ensure accuracy and respond appropriately to equipment error messages.
• Perform quality checks, verify quantities produced, confirm batches against order tickets, and properly set up equipment.
• Support productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Job Duties:
• Operate machines that print materials such as statements, health insurance cards, and loyalty cards.
• Manually insert documents and forms into envelopes.
• Affix tags to plastic carriers and prepare mail for expedited mailing packages.
• Operate presorting machines to sort and separate damaged or defective mail.
• Request reprints when necessary to ensure accurate and complete production.
• Place sorted mail into bins for delivery to the post office.
• Perform quality checks and verify production quantities and batch accuracy against order tickets.
• Set up and adjust production equipment as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement goals.
• Participate in cross-training to learn and operate different machines and equipment.
