Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, plus 8–10 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Networking

• A deep understanding of key technologies and protocols in Enterprise Networking and data center environments

• In-depth knowledge of designing and optimizing complex network solutions

• Technical expertise in multiple areas and familiarity with expected product behavior and industry standards

• Strong operational and consultancy experience

• Expertise with Client software features and functionality

• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

• Ability to function effectively in ambiguous circumstances

• Demonstrated expertise in relevant technology and delivery methods

• Certifications like CCIE R/S or Data Center are preferred



Enterprise Networking Expertise:

Required Knowledge Areas:

• Advanced knowledge of Routing/Switching, including:

-Client Routing & Switching Platforms, Datacenter Switching Platforms, IP Routing, Internetworking, MPLS, LAN Switching, Multicast, and Route Redistribution

-Platforms like Nexus 7K, 9K, 2K, and Cat9K

-Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and switching

-Security knowledge is a plus



Key Skills & Features:

• Experience with advanced features:

-MPLS (L2/L3 VPN/VRFLite), MPLS-TE, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, inter-AS, QoS, IPv6, IP SLAs, RPVST+, MST, PIM, DMVPN, GETVPN, NetFlow, PfR

• Proficiency in programming (e.g., Ansible, Python, AI/ML) is a plus

• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex networking environments

This position requires an engineer with advanced skills and broad experience in Routing/Switching and Data Center environments. The individual must:

• Assess risks, foresee potential problems, and proactively collaborate to spearhead solutions with customers.

• Play a leadership role in critical delivery engagements, ensuring operational excellence in service delivery execution and meeting customer objectives, business transformation, and operational outcomes.

• Influence internal and external stakeholders through innovative, compelling points of view and thought leadership on technology drivers for their business.

As a technical leader and trusted advisor, you will:

• Assess customer requirements, develop and manage the engineering team’s service delivery methods, and execute improvements through the lens of customer and internal stakeholder needs.



You will work with many different agencies within U.S. Public Sector Professional Services. This opportunity involves:

• Helping to craft the customer’s vision for their network and maintaining a secure, state-of-the-art environment that is second to none in terms of network uptime and reliability

• Having an impact on SLED (State, Local, and Education) customers and helping them transform to meet their mission

• Gaining hands-on experience with SLED customers' networks while collaborating on impactful projects aligned with mission-critical public service goals



You will:

• Work on network infrastructures to deliver business and technology solutions that create value for customers

• Share your ideas and perspective on how to get things done effectively



Role & Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with Client internal stakeholders, customers, and partners across functions to achieve significant results

• Serve as a trusted advisor on assigned customers/accounts by being onsite as needed

• Make decisions impacting the achievement of customer, operational, program, or service objectives

• Contribute effectively to the areas of customer problem resolution, innovation, engineering engagement, intellectual capital, and talent development

• Interact effectively with Engineering to solve complex problems, identify serviceability issues, and drive resolution with Engineering and other organizations

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex customer problems in support of critical issues

• Act as a focal point for problem resolution/escalation for assigned customer engagements

• Continuously learn and strengthen technical skills in relevant technical domains and adjacent technologies

• Apply knowledge and experience independently to create solutions for customer outcomes

• Solve extremely complex problems using innovative troubleshooting and experimentation techniques

• Review ideas and technical objectives within and across services

• Work independently with guidance in complex situations, leading some projects or programs within a function

• Advocate for a growth mindset and serve as a steward of Client’s culture



Leadership Responsibilities:

• Provide complex design recommendations integrating new features and applications to senior leadership teams

• Advocate for the customer’s best interests while promoting Client solutions
