Job Description
Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical or business field



Preferred Education:

• Master's Degree in a relevant technical or business field



Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales support, sales operations, customer service, order management, or a related field.

• Master’s degree candidates with relevant academic experience may also be considered.



Knowledge:

• Good knowledge in a technical field or business method, including the basic theoretical background.

• Develops basic business understanding. Contributes to team effort, awareness of expected value add.

• May improve processes, business methods or technical components



Job Summary:

• Prepares, reviews, and books customer orders/revisions to orders.

• Reviews customer orders and checks consistency and completeness in cooperation with all involved stakeholders on both the customer side and the client's sales or project management organization.

• Initiates sales orders/purchase orders to vendors according to customers' requirements.

• Interfaces with factory and product/marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes.

• May determine discount rates applied at time of sale.

• May resolve issues related to transaction quality.

• Guides the customer sales support process related to factory tours, product demonstrations or presentations, new product trainings, trade shows, field sales support and pricing.

Needs to solve assigned, non-routine tasks, to contribute to projects or assignments, or to support the development of guidelines, methods, tools or business processes.
