• High School or Equivalent



Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

• 1–2 years of analytical experience

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience with data integration

• Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment

• Flexibility and ability to work well in a relatively unstructured environment

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills



Preferred Experience

• Experience in the Health and Beauty Care (HBC) industry

• Experience creating applications using Microsoft Access and Excel

• Experience with sales analysis, category management, and retail data analysis



Overview

• The Sales Analyst will be responsible for developing applications and providing analytical support to Senior Management, Sales, Marketing, and Finance

• The role serves as a key point of contact for supporting departments across the organization

• The primary objective is to provide all levels of the organization with category and sales information necessary to promote profitable sales growth in alignment with company and brand strategies

• The position requires strong analytical capabilities, data integration experience, and the ability to translate retail and sales information into actionable business insights

• The Sales Analyst will support sales and category management initiatives through customer-specific retail data analysis, KPI reporting, historical sales information, and ad-hoc reporting

• The role also involves preparing sales information and presentations for management meetings, conferences, customer appointments, and other business requirements



Job Duties

• Create applications in Microsoft Access and Excel to report key performance indicators (KPIs) to all levels of the organization

• Provide analysis of customer-specific retail data to support field sales and category management initiatives

• Analyze a wide range of retail business development issues, including:

o Pricing

o Promotions

o Assortment

o Distribution

o Merchandising

• Provide historical Direct Sales information from current systems to all stakeholders

• Perform substantial ad-hoc reporting for Management, Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Finance

• Provide Sales Support colleagues with information to develop informative and dynamic sales presentations

• Learn new concepts and strategies related to information delivery systems

• Provide sales information to Upper Management for sales meetings, conferences, customer appointments, and other occasions as required
