Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered

Required Qualifications:
• Experience developing and customizing OpenText Content Server/xECM solutions
• Proven experience configuring, deploying, and supporting enterprise-wide document management platforms
• Hands-on experience with at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, including design and configuration activities
• Experience delivering end-to-end integrations between enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security, and infrastructure design
• Experience with workflow automation, data synchronization, and business workspace configuration
• Experience with REST APIs, CMIS integrations, and API testing tools such as Postman
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration
• Experience with SQL Server database administration and support
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with AI-enabled content management solutions
• Experience implementing OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) with SAP environments
• Experience with load balancing, failover configurations, and system monitoring
• Knowledge of firewall configuration and network optimization
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise content management platforms
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)

Job Summary:

The OpenText xECM Solutions Architect is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise content management and document management solutions utilizing OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM (xECM). This role partners with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that support business processes, records management, collaboration, and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate combines deep OpenText expertise with SAP integration experience, strong technical architecture skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective enterprise content management solutions.

Job Duties:
• OpenText Solution Development
• Design, develop, and customize OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM (xECM) solutions
• Configure enterprise document management and content management environments
• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization efforts
• Develop scalable solutions aligned with business and technical requirements

SAP Integration & Enterprise Applications
• Participate in SAP implementation and integration projects
• Design and configure integrations between SAP and OpenText platforms
• Support document management, records management, and workflow processes within SAP environments
• Ensure seamless information flow between enterprise systems

Integration & Automation
• Design and implement end-to-end integrations across enterprise applications
• Develop workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Configure business workspaces and document lifecycle management processes
• Design data synchronization and information exchange processes

Architecture & Security
• Design secure and highly available enterprise architectures
• Implement health monitoring, failover, and load-balancing strategies
• Support firewall configuration and network security requirements
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and protocols including TLS and IPsec

API & Platform Administration
• Develop and support REST API and CMIS integrations
• Utilize Postman and related tools for API testing and validation
• Support Windows Server environments hosting OpenText applications
• Administer and maintain SQL Server databases supporting content management systems

Collaboration & Support
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs
• Provide technical guidance to development and support teams
• Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues
