Job Description
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Staffing Account Manager to support and expand our staffing and consulting business throughout New York State. The ideal candidate will have experience managing staffing accounts, supporting government and commercial staffing contracts, coordinating recruiting activities, and building strong client relationships. They should be local to the Albany or surrounding area.
This role will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and will work closely with recruiting teams, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of staffing services and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, account management, or workforce solutions
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
• Experience coordinating recruiting and onboarding activities
• Knowledge of staffing industry processes, contract staffing, and consultant management
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting New York State government staffing contracts strongly preferred
• Familiarity with New York State procurement and staffing processes
• Experience supporting IT, professional, administrative, or government staffing engagements
• Existing relationships within New York State agencies or public-sector organizations
• Familiarity with HBITS, Project Based IT Consulting (PBITS), or other New York State contract vehicles is a plus
Client Engagement Associate Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow staffing accounts across New York State
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, recruiters, consultants, and internal leadership
• Develop strong client relationships through regular communication and account support
• Coordinate staffing requirements, candidate submissions, interviews, onboarding, and consultant engagement activities
• Work closely with recruiting teams to identify qualified candidates for open positions
• Monitor consultant performance, assignment status, extensions, and transitions
• Support contract compliance, reporting requirements, and service-level expectations
• Resolve client and consultant issues in a timely and professional manner
• Identify opportunities for account expansion and additional staffing services - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
