Job Description
Required Education:
· PhD or MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.

Certifications:
· N/A

Must Have Hard Skills:
· AI Tool Familiarity: Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and a working understanding of how large language models are applied to technical and analytical tasks.
· Coding Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python (preferred) or another popular programming language. Ability to write, review, and debug code in a professional or academic context.
· Teaching Experience: Experience teaching or mentoring advanced concepts in your field (e.g., graduate-level coursework, corporate training, professional development), demonstrating an ability to unpack and relay complex problems as logical, step-by-step thinking.
· Extensive subject matter expertise: A deep and demonstrated understanding of one or more recognized areas within finance, accounting, operations, or supply chain.
· Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, evaluate annotation quality, and provide actionable feedback.

Soft Skills:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and guidance with our internal teams and external vendors.
· A proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
· Flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving environment.

Experience:
· A minimum of 5+ years of experience in one or more of: corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, public accounting, FP&A, supply chain management, procurement, operations research, or related professional practice.

Responsibilities:
· Domain Expertise Advisory: Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance, focused on your specialty sub-domain within finance, accounting, operations, or supply chain.
· Data Annotation: Directly annotate data for key tasks across the model development life cycle, including writing and evaluating code-based solutions to domain-specific problems
· Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in our training data with respect to quantitative reasoning, financial analysis, and operational problem-solving
· Guideline Development: Create, edit, and maintain high-quality annotation guidelines tailored to your sub-domain area of expertise. Ensure that these guidelines are up-to-date, clear, and concise to enable vendors to deliver accurate annotations. As a domain SME, you'll set the gold standard for data quality and rigor.
· Quality Assurance: Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors. You will identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to optimize the quality of annotations.

Required Availability:
· Minimum availability of ~20 hours/week, preferred 40 hours/week. You'll join calibration calls with the team 2-5x per week.

Overview:
· We are actively seeking experienced finance, accounting, operations, and supply chain professionals with strong coding skills to provide subject matter expertise ensuring quality standards for our AI training data. This role offers the chance to work remotely, partnering closely with Client's AI research and engineering teams to advance cutting-edge technologies.

· Preferred minimum availability of 40 hrs/week. Exceptional candidates with part-time availability of 20 hrs/week will also be considered. You'll join calibration calls with your colleagues on the Client team at least weekly, or more often.
