Job Description
Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science or Engineering.

• 2–4 years of relevant industry or laboratory experience.



Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Science or Engineering (preferred over Bachelor's).



Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant laboratory or scientific experience.

• Experience executing experimental protocols and bench experiments.

• Experience with data analysis, technical reporting, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.

• Experience troubleshooting laboratory issues and implementing corrective actions.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and training others.



Tech Skills

• Knowledge of basic and specialized laboratory techniques.

• Experience with slide imaging and image acquisition systems (e.g., DP600s, DP200s, VS200, multispectral flash instruments).

• Ability to perform virtual staining and assemble slide cohorts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation/graphical software.

• Ability to analyze experimental data and prepare quantitative reports.



Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision.

• Perform bench experiments, record observations, and analyze experimental data.

• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.

• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records.

• Follow routine work instructions and detailed guidance for new assignments.

• Recommend improvements to laboratory processes and work environment.

• Assist in identifying and developing patentable inventions.

• Analyze data and solve problems using established scientific methods.

• Select appropriate methods and techniques within defined laboratory practices.

• Participate in cross-functional technical teams, including failure investigations.

• Collaborate effectively with project teams and contribute to project planning.

• Train team members in areas of expertise.

• Troubleshoot laboratory issues and implement corrective actions.

• Present experimental procedures and results to project teams.

• Monitor work quality and promote a "Quality First Time" culture.
