• Study Support: Experience in supporting studies, including planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external user studies.
• Hardware Testing - Benchtop Testing: Familiarity with benchtop testing of hardware and prototypes to ensure proper functioning and identify potential issues.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to maximize availability when participants arrive in the lab for user studies.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic Excel: Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and management.
Nice to Have:
• Hands-on Expertise: Handling proof-of-concept prototypes for benchtop tests and user studies.
• Background in neuroscience, physiology, or a related discipline. Proven experience running human subjects studies utilizing multimodal sensing & ground truth/reference equipment.
• AI Fluency: Comfortable leveraging AI tools for coding, documentation, and automating routine tasks to increase operational efficiency. SRT (Single Review Tool): Experience with SRT, a tool used for managing and reviewing research studies.
• IRB (Institutional Review Board): Knowledge of IRB protocols and procedures for ensuring the protection of human subjects in research.
• Data Collection: Experience with data collection methods and tools, including surveys, interviews, and observational studies.
• LaMa (Launch Manager): Familiarity with LaMa, a tool used for managing and tracking research projects.
• Python: Programming skills in Python, including data analysis and visualization.
• Excel: Advanced skills in using Excel for data analysis and management.
• Sensors: Knowledge of sensors and their applications in research studies.
• Experience: Experience working with Meta, Apple, Samsung or similar companies, including familiarity with their products and services.

About the Role
We are seeking a Biosensors Research Operations Specialist to join our team. This role operates at the intersection of hardware/software testing and human subjects research. You will be responsible for testing early-stage prototypes and executing rigorous user studies focused on advanced health features.
Responsibilities
• End-to-End Study Execution: Manage the planning and execution of internal and/or external user studies. Navigate internal and external legal and IRB approval processes. Prepare devices, distribute study materials, and utilize data acquisition and analysis skills to initiate and maintain robust, repeatable data collection with minimal operator-induced variance.
• Hardware & Bench-top Testing: Conduct bench-top testing of early hardware and prototypes to ensure sensor functionality and identify technical issues prior to user testing.
• Participant Management: Manage participant scheduling using internal tools, handle cancellations, and optimize lab availability to ensure efficient study execution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, legal, clinical, and research teams to secure study approvals, maintain compliance, and align project expectations.
• Data Quality & Reporting: Conduct rigorous data quality assessments to ensure data integrity. Perform AI-driven data analysis, summarize progress, and prepare objective, actionable reports for cross-functional stakeholders. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
