Job Description
Required Education:

• BS Degree in Food Science, Regulatory, Nutrition, or equivalent as minimum.



Qualifications

• 1-2 years regulatory affairs experience in food industry.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

• Detail-oriented; adaptable; ability to work independently desired.

• Excellent computer skills – must be quick to learn new systems; Product Vision, Image Worx.

• Microsoft Office experience preferred.



Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Job Description:

• This Regulatory Affairs Specialist contractor position supports Regulatory Affairs initiatives. The person in this position will interact with various Regulatory Leads to complete assigned projects.

• The primary focus of this position is to support graphic refreshes of the portfolio which includes the development of the nutrition and ingredient label declarations that are compliant with US FDA regulations, as well as support updates to legacy label information documentation.

• This helps to ensure the accuracy of the regulatory information in our databases and on final artwork.

• The position will involve work on multiple Regulatory initiatives to provide support on nutrition, labeling, claims, and regulatory questions for the US market and potentially internationally.

• The position will require a basic understanding and application of US Food and Drug Administration labeling regulations to ensure the accuracy and regulatory compliance of ingredient statements, nutrition facts, allergen declarations, and claims.

• They must be able to monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with US regulations today and into the future.
